I am trying to boot up a computer I have built for the first time. When it goes to the floppy to try to read a systems disk it just hangs. I have swapped both the cable and the floppy drive with ones from a system that is working fine, so I know the problem isn't in the drive or cable. When I turn on the power without a system disk in the drive, it completes the auto detection of the other drives and video card just fine, then I get the error I would expect..."Boot Drive Failure..." I insert a non-system disk and I get the "non-system disk" error. When I swap the Non-system disk with a system disk, this drive sounds like it's active for a second, and then I just get a cursor with no message and nothing happens. Also, I have made sure that the bios looks to boot from floppy and the floppy is first in the boot order. I have exausted all of my ideas and I'm hoping some of the people that know their stuff can help. Thanks.
