what is the direction of air flow of you CPU fan. I know some CPU fan force the air towards to power supply, some towards the drive are?

also, IFICUDIWUD has a good suggestion of turning the case upside down, and turn around the cdrom, flopy drive etc. So you can have a case as most other design.

use google.com and search "air duct cpu" you should see why i suggest fan air duct. even without a fan on the air duct, you should be cooler. And this is something that do not need a lot of money and you can try it right the way. (test it out, do a experiment like replace the door case with some newspaper to cover the case, tape it up. then make a hole just up the CPU and build a duct with some hard paper to form a tunnel. It should big enough to surround the CPU fan, but not block the sink (air go out from there). Measure the length of duct to heat sink. Just be creative. There is no exact solution in case mod/cooling. Too many fans may hurt your hearing.
air duct exp like this
but please keep the fan on heat sink, you do not need to remove it.

intel

out of plastic

One note, most of fans i get from excess-solutions are wires without the connector. I think it is good because you may want to connect to the Power supply's 12V lines out, rather than to the motherboard, given that they draw larger current (those 92MM, 120MM model)
My thinking is the Pano fan is quiet but weak. (i use it myself.) after i get a 120mm fan. i can feel the different! The noise is ok and i can always switch to 7v to operate them (i DIY a 12v/off/7v baybus) fanbus/ baybus

(I was not home for a couple of days, and then the ISP wasn't working well for the last few days so I couldn't post the reply)

Thanks Buz2b, I considered all the 5 fans to be of equal power (in terms of cfm intake/exhaust)

Well you were right when you said in the beginning that the temps I mentioned were too high even with the kind of ambient temperatures I mentioned, the HSF was improperly installed!! I was at my friend's place where he had installed the same board and Duron 1.0 in a new casing and he was getting around 48'C in air-conditioned room. So I decided to check my HSF. I went to the shop where I had bought my processor from, he had some extra thermal paste, he re-installed the HSF after applying the paste, and my cpu temperatures also came down to 46-48'C.

Before that I even turned my casing upside down (as IFICUDIWUD suggested) to check if it was the case to be blamed , but there was no noticeable difference in temperatures (not even a degree or two).

Now I have oc'ed my system to 1240Mhz and the temperatures are around 55-59'C idle (depending on the room temperature) and upto a maximum of 67 under full load for half an hour.

For the time being, I am leaving my case opened, I'll put more fans in the case with a cpu air-duct later, coz I think these temperatures don't harm.

Thank you Isman, I read those articles, it would be great to have the cpu temperatures within 9'C of the case temperatures, but I can't find big fans in the local market. The only fans I could find in the market were approximately 80mm, there was no information about the rpm speed or the cfm intake/exhaust. So I guess I'd have to order those fans online and would have to wait till some friend/relative brings those from USA to Pakistan. (Shipping to Pakistan would be hefty)

A big thanks to all those who replied!
