Help me find this book from a PBS show please!

i remember watching a show on PBS about a photographer who went to alaska, and took 1 picture a day for an entire year. i'm trying to find his book, but am having no luck. can you help me? thanks!

Not in Alaska. One of his pics is titled "Lake Superior Beach"

i saw that, but isn't the only place inthe us you can see the equinox in alaska?

ack, you're right, it's minnesota. this is why it made it so hard to find the book! i vaguely remembered seeing it, but it turned out ot be on the national geographic channel, not pbs, and it wasn't even alaska, and it wasn't even a whole year! still cool pics though

Well if your interested in Alaska they recently (think last weekend here) aired a program about a guy that decided to go into the Alaskan wilderness and survive off the land. He documented his stay there, and filmed his first year, and I believe it's compiled in a book.

yea, that documentary almost got me to contribute to pbs. it was one of the most interesting docs i've ever seen, i saw it a few eyars ago

Wow...so other than it being about picture-taking, you weren't even close...
