What sort of system needs powering? Quad SLI? High end Crossfire perhaps? If not, a good 400-500W will more than likely suffice. If you give us the specs of the system that the PSU will need to power, we can tell you for sure.

Your choices are a bit OVERKILL, but....

The Silverstone has more power and less ripple.

But the Toughpower costs less (doesn't it?) and is more efficient.

You decide. I'm not going to hate you either way.

Thermaltake's are horrible or anything, but they don't really compare to Silverstone's psu's.

Take a look at Enermax or OCZ too. They have 80% effeciency which is what you want in a PSU. But then again, JohnnyGuru knows more about PSU's than anyone I know. Check out his website for his great reviews......

Actually, the Liberty is not 80% and up efficient. Like the Silverstoen Zeus, they're "up to" 80% efficient. The FSP built OCZ's are 80% and up efficient like the Thermaltake Toughpower.

Trust me, jonnyGURU knows PSUs and I would go with whatever he says

Simple question: How come nobody ever recommends the PC Power & Cooling Silencer 610W? I thought PCP&C was the Holy Grail of PSUs and this one is actually kinda affordable at $169.99, compared to their other models.

Terrible generalization.

The new Toughpower the OP is looking at isn't bad at all.

PC Power and Cooling all the way!

Actually my bad, you're going to use Crossfire, and does PCP&C support Crossfire?

ALOHA

Proof positive that people like you should not be making PSU sugggestions.

PCP&C: Which one? A model from which OEM? Why?

Crossfire support: No different than SLI support. Just make sure you have ample juice on the 12V rails and the appropriate connectors for the video card.
