I need to move some files from a Pc with windows ME to one with XP....is there a simple way to connect them together and move the files?
how would you do it simplest?
please help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Assuming you have ethernet network cards in both machines, just run a cross over ethernet cable between the two and share a folder on each machine. Should work very easily.

Simplest? Gig thumb drive. Peer to Peer with X-over going between two network cards will also work well.
