Hi guys

My CPU: Intel Corei7 4790K Without Overclock. Mobo: ASUS Z97-K.

After Installing Patch Security (Microsoft Security Update ) For Spectre And Meltdown.

My CPU does not have the previous functionality And ASUS Ai Suite III is Deactivate. It even runs the web browser with a delay
.
How can I clear this security patch?

Thank You For Helping Me.

Control Panel > Programs & Features > View Installed Updates > find update via KB number > uninstall

If you're running Win10 though you'll just end up with Windows reinstalling the update automatically. On older versions of Windows you could blacklist the update.

I have the same cpu and mobo with w10. Asus AI broke for me as well after the update. However there is a beta Asus ai that i found on the asus rog forum and it works.

I have not experienced any slow down in general computing performace other than the broken asus ai. You mat want to reinstall the patch.

Perhaps it wasn't related to the patch? You're not exactly giving a lot of information about how exactly your system is slow.

You could look through the installed updates list based on date of installation and see if any others went on at the same time. It might also be worth checking to see if the potentially problematic update hasn't been reinstalled already.

Try restoring to an earlier Restore Point before the slow downs began and see what happens.

My 4790K and ASUS Z-97A show no signs of slowdown after the Win10 patch.

No slowdowns on my ancient Q9400 on Windows 7. From what I read, the impact would be worse on Windows 7 and old CPUs, but I see no difference in desktop general use, encoding, or gaming.

I suspect the OP has an unrelated issue.
