Help me remove porn

Now heres the deal. I suspect my bro is stacking porn on his pc but as i havent got his access password to his account on windows xp, i cant prove it. However, if here was a utility that can be downloaded that is small, that can allow me to learn his password, while he leaves his pc unattended for a short time, i could then use it to access his account when he is away. the thing is, i dont want to accuse him without proof.

Any suggestions?

First of all, a 4 year old could find a porn site, they make up half the internet. Typing in a URL wrong can net you a porn site. You can literally stumble into one.

Second of all, porn is bad mkay. Just because you can't control your bodily urges doesn't mean you should tell this guy not to.

That'd be the only way. Pull the harddrive out, plug it into your computer below your harddrive as a slave, then it's a seperate drive you can access through your computer. The absolute easiest way to do this is if you have a spare enclosure to pop it into, but most people don't.

This is a little naive. When kids surf the web these days, unless parents are very vigilant, porn finds them, whether they are old enough or not.

Not to say I approve of brother 1 hacking brother 2's operating system. I would still go to mom and dad.

zmaster, your mom & dad should be involved in this. If you think he may have an unhealthy behavior, it's ok to say that to them.

As for the technical side, with your parents' approval, try this to start with. Start his computer in Safe Mode (you know how to do this?), and see if there is an Administrator or Owner account visible on the log-in screen that does not normally appear. If so, try it with a blank password and see what happens. If he is the average Windows user, that'll work.

Why not just use a live CD linux distro?
It doesn't require anything other than a CD.
Once you boot the lvie CD, Knoppix automounts the NTFS partitions and you can then access any unencrypted files/directories.

Being interested in sex is a natural part of growning up. It should NEVER be punished. My point is that if he is collecting porn he is not a 4 year old, he is a kid who wants some wanking material as he explores his own growing sexuality. This kid wants proof to get his brother in trouble. That is wrong.

If his parents do not take an active enough part in their sons growning up to notice he is getting interested in sex and to talk to him about it, or if they punish him for it then it is their fault if their son grows up to be ashamed of himself and his own sexuality. My point was its not his responsibility, its his parents. Perhaps he should respect his brother and keep his mouth shut. Its not like drugs or something that will harm him.

And yes now that I think about it, looking at pictures of nude women or porn is a natural part of growing up as a male. I can't think of a person who didn't want to or did get ahold of a playboy as they grew up. Now if its goatse, we need an intervention.
