Help me set up a DNS server, and e-mail server please

I am using Corel Linux (ease of use for a Linux newbie), and have managed to set up my web server with apache fine, but am still totally lost as to how I can go about setting up both a DNS server, and an e-mail server.

If you could either give me step by step instructions (extremely step by step), or point me to a good tutorial, I would greatly apprecieate it.

if you're that much of a newbie, i don't really recommend you touch dns and sendmail till you get better... those can get a little nasty to setup as a newbie.

they might even already be installed.. i'm not sure what corel linux installs by default. all you'd need to do is edit some config files.

Actually DNS is relatively easy. Sendmail is real hell.

I suggest a book. A book works even if your internet connection is not working and you can sit down and really get into it.

For a good bind howto, check out http://www.linuxdoc.org.
For sendmail, I agree with Sebastian, get a good book, O'Reilly has very good books on Linux/UNIX stuff IMO, [l)www.oreilly.com[/l].
Sendmail can be quite a pain to setup, but ocne you get it working, its very easy to maintain.

Thanks for the resources, I'll check those out in an hour or so. There's no problem with not getting the internet, as the box that I'm using Linux on is secondary, although, what books would you recomend?
