600 dollar budget.

Current setup:

AMD 1800XP
Iwill KK266
512mb PC133
Ti4200 128MB
Maxtor 40GB 7200rpm
Live! X-Gamer
16x DVD
12x10x32 Burner
Asus TV Tuner
300watt PS
Full tower
Linksys 10/100

I want to keep my optical drives, tower, video card and tv tuner.

I'm thinking:

Asus A7N8X Deluxe
2500+ or 2600+ Barton (they still come unlocked right and which one should I get?)
2x512MB PC3200 (should I go with no name, CAS 3, RAM at 77 a stick or name brand, CAS 2.5 for 85 a stick?)
Seagate Baracuda SATA 120GB 7200rpm (possibility of adding one more in the future for a RAID 0 array)

Any comments will be appreciated. I've been out of the loop for a while so I dunno what's good anymore . I'll probably be relying on the nforce2 stuff for integrated audio and 10/100 as well.

The video card will make do for now, my current HD is pretty much full and my comp. lags when editing huge files in Photoshop. I'll be updating the video card sometime in the future.

If you really need to shave a few bucks, I highly recommend taking a look at the For Sale forum. Always alot of stuff running through there, and alot of it quite nice. I guess if I had to spend 600 right now here is where it would go:
This is all from newegg:

DFI Motherboard for AMD AthlonAMD Athlon XP 266/333/400MHz Model NFII ULTRA INFINITY - Retail- $99

2 x GEIL DDR RAM 512MB PC-3200 Value 400MHz Ultra- CAS 2.5, 2T Command With Extreme Performance Heat Spreader- $170 total

AMD ATHLON XP 2500+ "Barton" 333 FSB PROCESSOR CPU- RETAIL- $90

2 x Western Digital Raptor 36GB SATA WD360GD 10,000 RPM 8MB Hard Drive OEM- $218 total

All in all, $582 with free shipping.
Of course, if you really wanted more space, you could substitute those drives for some bigger 7.2k ones, but I would highly suggest that they have an 8mb buffer.

Good luck.
