Help me ... what is this motherboard

I found this motherboard at an online auction :

At the moment the bid is 4 US per motherboard, and as cheap as it may sound, I want to know what I am buying.

Anyone recognize the motherboard ?

Well, I can't read it. Be worth having a new toy to play with for $4.

Well it look as follows:

The blue slot looks like a dedicated power PCI slot or a ACR slot something to that effect.

The southbridge looks like a VIA or SIS

It is Mini ATX

Probably P4 judging by the HSF

Has a 3 phase power

It looks like it might be an Epox board by the setup.

I would go ahead and get it for that little of a price. Looks OK.

Epox?? Look at the chipset heatsink, same one on my 8K7A I think without pulling panels. SFF also.

I would be willing to bet that it is SFF or Micro ATX... Most likely SFF. ALso i dont recall MSI ever making a green PCB board. Also i said it was Epox. the 8k7a is epox too what is the problem here!?

No problem. I was agreeing with you. Edited it as I realized I had put MSI (I have 2) instead of Epox (I have 2 of those also)

MSI used to make Green PCBs, they just don't anymore.

I can't find the card in MSI's Archives, although there are alot of cards that look very similar, just not with that distinctive blue PCI slot (or whatever it is)

Epox's archives aren't as extensive as MSI's but I can't find it there either.

okay. after looking at Epox, ECS, and several others, i went back to MSI and found motherboards that almost look like the picture.

the MSI-6507E has the mysterious blue PCI slot, but not the proper colored heatsink (although other MSI cards DO have that), the wrong heatsink mount, and the rear panel outputs don't look right among other things.

...much time later...

after much searching, i can't find it. i'd be interested to hear what kind of motherboard it really is if you end up getting it.
