Help me

OK here goes for somer eason my computer decided to stop workin this mornin. I turned it on and it gets to the windows 2000 start up screne all fine then it gives me a blue screne saying some registery key is missing or something like that. It points to current/softwhere/somethin and then it automatically reboots. Really annoying so i tried to do the win 2k repair off the CD but it tells me to put in my rescue disk. But i dont have one of them or know how to create one. So i installed windows again on my 3rd HD so i could talk to you fine people. So if anyone knows how to fix this problim of mine please tell me.Aand if you know how to create these rescuce disks tell me that also. I need help i really dont feel like reformating that drive cause its a pain in the but installing everything again.

boot from the cd again, it'll give you the option to either repair or install.. choose install, it'll look for previous installiations of the OS and offer you the option again of trying to repair the previous installation, choose repair
