Help! Monitor turning green.

Occasionally my monitor's screen will turn green(jade). Very annoying to say the least. It does not seem to be tied to the cord or video card as nothing is moving when it happens and my other monitor works fine when I use it. It is an Hitachi 751. It isn't yellow like in the previous posts I read when I did a search.

Any ideas?

Bad connection?
Same thing happened to my 10 years old 14" Osborne monitor. Resoldering some connectiors in the plug worked for me..
