I don't know you. You don't know me. I haven't bothered to read the rest of the thread because the topic is as trivial as it can get.
But here is some information that you should consider.
1. Girlfriends- As of this stage in my life, I have yet to have had one. WHy? I don't know..maybe because I was poor and everyone else wasn't. I had many friends though. I won them over with my personalityl, my brains, my charm..the qualitys that matter.
2. Cheating- Once someone cheats on you they have given up all of their supposedly "deemed" respect. You should leave her becuase she cheated, and because she has shone that she is not devoted. I have had female friends that would give their life for me, and the fact that she is your girlfriend aand has failed you in this respect is a clue to leave.
3. Poverty- To reitterate, I grew up poor. Up until my senior year of Highschool, the maximum amount of money me and my mother had for food a month after the bills were paid was $150.
I will not castigate you on you attitude, for you will not listen to that type of argument. All I can say is that I have live with much less, and have had SO MUCH MORE in life.
Money can BUY you great things.
Life, if done correctly, can assure that you recieve much greater things
By the way...
1. I almost failed highschool last year because of illness after have had a 4.0GPA since about 1st grade. I passed because of all the the extra classes I took
2. A good friend of my mother just died a month ago. She was a very good friend of mine too.
3. I don't have a car.I'll tell you why in a second.
4. My DAD just abandoned the family and left with someone and got married. He's living in Arizona working in a WalMart when he was Director of Operations at "Youth For Understanding" a non-profit Foreign Exchange college in Washington D.C
He left with part of my heart, the alimony he never will pay, and
my car.
So you see, people have it a lot worse than you did.
Even so, I fell that i have it better than you do. WHy?
I am a Freshmen at a 32 thousand dollar-a-year University in Philadelphia(guess which one) studying ENgineering based on my book smarts.
I have the world now when at a point I had nothing. THat is why I love my life.
I do this only in the hopes of demeaning the importance of your situation so that you may overcome it due to its inane existance.
By the way, I am hispanic, and by that I refer to the fact that many Hispanics are never given respect. I have worked hard as hell for my entire life to earn the amount of repect I have from my colleagues. To hear that someone as yourself, probably a repectable individual, complaining about something so trivial, and failing to move on to greater things is saddning. For your sake, and for the sake of the world, move on, and God Bless you on your trip.
By the way my car was a 1990 Toyota Tercel. Sorriest piece of crap you can drive in terms of looks.
