It's my favorite because, well, it came from a community that I'm involved in. Just as a parent would generally naturally place their own child's painting as their favorite - despite being able to also differentiate between quality & rate another child's painting as being better.

I think you over-explained your reasoning so you could ignore the fact that this is underhanded. Voting becuse you honestly believe it is better is good, but thats not what the OP asked.

What the hell happened to ATOT? We used to be such a community, and no one would have a problem helping out with the ATOT effect. Now a large number of members just seem to be here to take shots at other members.

You haters are missing the point: ATOT Effect exists to mock online polls and contests which, at their core, are just popularity contests (See every CNN and MSNBC poll regarding Israel or George Bush).

This is a perfect example of that since No. 1 is obviously the best picture, yet No. 6 will win.
