Our new pig
Our new pig (a female). Just arrived last night, about 8 or 9 weeks old.
This one isn't for food.
Well, eventually, it'll be food..
We're going to turn it into a baby piggy maker She can eat our extra food that's laying around (right now, tons of apples all over the place; more than our other animals can keep up with) and table scraps and all of her pig food.
update: The wife handed down her decision: "Ophelia"
Thanks for all the other suggestions
I like "Kevin" but figured I'd get tired of this conversation:
"Sooooo, why did you name a female pig, 'Kevin'?"
"Kevin Bacon. Get it? Huh huh huh huh"
I also liked "Piggy" which is what I've been calling it the last two days. I finally finished building Ophelia's stall last night; she's no longer residing with the goats who still had looks on their faces of "wtf is that?"
