Ok heres the deal, I just upgraded to a 900 T-Bird (which I love), and I have this old PC-Chips board that is terrible and won't run the k6s 500 at anything higher than 400 (and its a slow 400), so I was going to stick it in my girlfriend's old IBM, which has the original version of the Aladin IV (not the IV+) but it is one of the latest revisions of it. Now the board supports 2.2v for the k6300 that was in it, so I set the bus speed to 83 and set the multiplier to 2.0 (to get 6.0) and I get nothing, next I tried reducing the bus speed to 66, and still nothing, I have been playing with every jumper that I know won't fry something I can't get a thing. Anyone have any ideas, is the Aladin IV not compatible with the k62? I would have thought it would at least post and maybe boot at the worst, but I can't even get it to do anything, it just turns on the fans and sits there, with power on, but doing nothing... If anyone has any ideas, let me know, thanks in advance.
