I just built a new PC and it freezes for no apparent reason. Sometimes I can run it for a few hours with no problem, but then it will just freeze. I've done all the standard things like update bios, update chipsets, drivers. I did have problems at first with the CPU getting too hot but I've fixed that issue with a new Volcano heat sink so now I'm running below 40c all the time. But the PC still continues to freeze and there doesn't seem to be any pattern as to which application its on. What I am starting to notice is that it freezes especially when I try to burn DVD's. Its driving me crazy.
Any ideas? THANKS SO MUCH!
