Help... please!

I am just about done building my new computer... I am just waiting for my video card to come. Right now I am not really sure how to install the operating system. I have done it with regular systems but I have a SCSI hard Drive and SCSI CDR/W. Where do I start? I can't format the Hard Drive without having my Adaptec 39160 (SCSI Card) drivers installed... right? It came with a floppy with the drivers so I was thinking... ok... I just need to put that in and run the CSI card using the Drivers on the floppy... but what about my CDR/W drivers? How can I install the OS without having it's drivers installed? I know how to format anad install an OS using a regular system with IDE.. .but SCSI is a whole new world to me.. .any help would be apriciated. I'll give the specs of what I am going to have, they may help.

You will need an OEM version of the OS you intend to install. They usually come with a boot diskette that have drivers for most CD drives (and SCSI) already on them. They also have the utilities for setting up the hard disk. If you don't have such a boot disk, look on the web for the "Ultimate Boot Disk" and DL the one that matches the OS you intend to install (w95/98 or wMe). That disk has just about everything on it you might need to set up any drives and install win. Of course you do have to have access to a working machine w/ internet access to DL the file(s) and create the diskette(s).
There are other, more manual ways to install, but you sound like a more automated method would suit better. Good luck.
