help understanding Mobo

hey i just built my first PC turned it on, everything looks to be working alright, fans are spinning etc little green light comes on mobo, then it starts beeping, but i dont no what that means and i didn't get the owner's book with the comp, so i can't look at that to find out what it means, does anyone know if there is an electronic version of the owner's book for the ASUS A8N SLI DELUXE

my specs are as follows

ASUS a8n sli deluxe
AMD 3800+
2 x 1GB sticks corsair value select
gefore xfx 6600GT

hey i read that, cheers for the link

but i still couldn't find anything about beeping it says something about posting(and common error messages with that, but it says it tells you things as in it speaks this only beeps. and its a reasonable long beep then a pause then another reasonably long beep and it keeps going on like that)

whats that(Posting)???

hi POST stands for "Power on self test" i test the bare minimum it takes for the computer to run. first it checks the processor memory and video output. you should hear 1 beep everytime you turn on your computer and post runs successfuly. if a crucial part of your computer fails you should hear a "POST hardware Diagnostic Message. I belive it gos as followed....(motherboards have been know to very)

1XX motherboard error
2xx main memory error
3xx (not sure)
skips 4
5xx graphics card
6xx (not sure)
and gos on...

i pulled out one of my A+ books...3xx is a keyboard error and 6xx is a floppy controller error. I have never had those errors im gussing those are for older at and baby at motherboards which probably required them. good luck.
