<<Ok I am sorry for reffering it that way. i understand that it's just a slang. i apologize for that. it's just what i have heard around school.
We attended West Seattle High School together. We graduated last year, C/O 2000. no i do not have any day pictures. but i might go and get some more pics. Yes. that number i posted was a cell number. For all i know, i could be wrong, just based on the facts that my friend has provided, it seemed kinda hard to be a coincedence, but it certainly can be. Supposely he's registered at UW, but my friend tells me he sees him at south seattle community college alot.

once again i apologize for the remarks i have made.>>

Oh, it's okay... I was just tired and pissed off this morning. I found out that Highpoint is actually the government housing in West Seattle, not White Center. Anyway, I think there's a good chance that it's not the same person as has been scamming these people. West Seattle High is a pretty long ways from that apartment, especially considering it's not even in the Seattle school district and that there's another high school right by it. And I don't think a lot of the info on these message boards is based on any proof, whether it be his age, address, name, or if he really is a "he" at all. It's pretty easy to pick a random name out of the phonebook. But I believe on one of these boards (Gotapex?) is someone's actual account of first-person dealings with this person. I think I'll just sit back and see what becomes of this issue.

Hello everyone.. My name is Cyberboy and I am Trike's friend.. We are the two that is trying to help the poor people who have money stolen from them out. I am not trying to nosy or anything, but I really hate people that steal! especially from the net!--it make people lose their confidences on buying from the net!

Okay with that out of the way. I am the one that brought up the idea that it could be our friend Bao because first of, his name was Alex which not many vietnamese people have.. and second his aim sn. MyHeartBrokenByU which is the one we used to talk on (me and alex) so I told Trike about his new sn which is NoOtherGirlLikeU. I was getting curious. So the first step I took was to try to call him and ask him for help on my homework. (The number that was listed here, and was given to me by Trike, I have no idea of before hand. just to clear things up, didn't know of this number before Trike told me about). Okay so he picked up and pretended to change his voice?? Well, then I was like.. "Hello Bao, this is *censored*. Please help me with my with math tommmorrow, I need your help, I'll see you in the library tommorrow." Then he was like "okay" (changed back to his real voice). So there is how everything started, I told Trike my finding and we visited the complex of which Alex Nguyen supposely reside, and took some photographs. (But We think he wasn't at home)

This morning I was "suppose" to visit the complex of which the suspect, Alex Nguyen reside. Well I did, but so it seem he left way before me, but beside I didn't have any more juice in my camera. Okay so off I go to school, where I know he would be at until about, 11:30am which he will goto his University and take classes. Okay. I sat down doing my homework in the library, I saw him helping his "girlfriend" and I got more curious, I want to try to call the cell phone number I found on here again to see if I see his phone ring. I did for the first time, nobody answered. Then I saw Bao lay his phone don't on the table in front of the table I am working at and I got even more curious so I called again, and this time his phone flashed. And he looked at his caller ID and see's my number, so he came over to ask me if I needed help with my work, and I was like, "yeah, that's why I called you".. and he was like "okay" .. So i BS something to ask him. He helped me and thank him.. He went back to his table sat down. I finished the homework and left the library.

Well, I can't conclude that he is the person that fraud so many poor people's money. But I can conclude that. Alex Nguyen is my friend's name. And the cell phone is sorry to say, HIS' (Alex Nguyen)!.. I have proven that. But still trying to see if he is living at the complex. I will keep you guys updated. Sorry to hear about all these bad things happening on the net.

--I really hope this is all just a mis-understanding--

Cyberboy...that is some good sleuthing.

Since you seem to know the guy pretty well, is his persona such that he has no problems ripping people off? Do you know something that is going on his life where he would be in need of lots money?

How about posting his yearbook photo?

Would the people that were personally effected just call the COPs already!

I mean, what good does it for me to call the FBI? It's the people who got screwed that need to make the move!

Cyberboy:

Good sleuth work.. But I'm sure Alex is monitoring this whole thread, and now he knows you've ratted him out. Good luck on handling that one!

Alex, i hope you are monitoring this. Hopefully this gets you to pay back all the people that you took from. I REALLY hate people who scam money out of another. I too was a victim before, i lost 400 dollars to some guy on egay. After that i told myself, never to get ripped off again.

btw:alex wasn't the one who ripped me off 400 bucks. I'm just pissed cause i got burned before.

Well today's the big day and still no money . I've called his number

1-206-501-6944 twice today the first time it seems like the guy changed his voice from a normal hello to a really big accented hello (please no racist things from this i'm asian to), and then the 2nd time nobody picked up. I'm fixing to go on a crusade and call him like every single hour until i can get a hold of him, anyone else wanna call him till you can get a hold of him feel free

number again is

1-206-501-6944

also cyberboy you said you called his cell # and he picked it up? could you post that # or is it that one up there? No i'm not encouraging anyone to pester him or anything but I don't know anyone other then cyberboy who has talked to him personally on the phone.

Anyone have that link for making internet phone calls for free? (You just have to keep pressing the space bar every 15 seconds I think).

DialPad looks useful, thanks. The one I was thinking of though you didn't have to register or anything, just type in the "from" and "to" phone numbers, hmmmm.

THIS ISNT THAT DIFFICULT!!!

First of all, someone who was RIPPED OFF by him needs to do the work, all our comments dont mean #$%^ to the cops, were not part of this..

Second, they need to call the COPS immediately, and unfortunately noone who bought from him likely lives in the same area...while Seattle is a big city, they have NO problems going to someones house or school and questioning them...

Third, although dealing with Paypal is unbearable, I suggest you call them..I have a fraud investigator's number from Paypal - John Kothanek (JKothanek@x.com) of xcoms "fraud investigations". HIS PHONE NUMBER IS (650)251-1141. Other xcom direct numbers include 251-1140, 251-1142. Supposedly this guy can have federal agents visit Alex for wire fraud.

Alex Nguyen was wrong to do what he did, but you guys are going overboard. Let the 5 people who got ripped off settle things with him. Your form of vigilante justice is more likely to backfire and get blown in your face. What if someone here does decide to confront Alex, and starts a fight with him? The only people who should even know how to get in touch with him are the five who got ripped off. Settle the hell down. And cyberboy, some friend you are. You should have privately emailed the 5 people with that info. once you verified that it was indeed your friend that did the crime, not posted it on a public forum.
