Trike, you are right! Alex's real name is in fact Bao Chieu Nguyen.

Here's a link to the thread where he, Alex, testified to such. (The link has been removed, as I do not wish to encourage a spill of this matter into other domains. . ..)

If the Alex that you, Trike, know is indeed the Alex in question, then the age thing has me wondering . . .. His true age is probably 24, but perhaps he has 18 on legal documents; 'cuz when I did some earlier research I saw that he was 24, not 22 as he claimed to some guy.

He justified his claim to 22 saying 24 was his true age but the supposed 22 he gave was his age on legal documents. So, I'm thinking that 22 was absolute lie; perhaps his age on legal documents is rather 18, while 24 is his real age.

yhlee I doubt that you carefully read that thread on fw you referred to. If you did read it, you would have seen that I in fact refuted the claim that the individual in question was indeed Alex. It was only after someone suggested a scenario that seemed feasible did I concede that under such supposition it was possible that the individual in question was indeed Alex.

You, I suppose, weren't a fw regular to see conversations I have in the past had with Alex. I need not link you to all threads on fw, where Alex has revealed a lot about himself; nor need I link you to those threads where I have continually questioned his credibility.

Edit: Oh! I forgot to state that I have seen a pic of the supposed Alex before! He had it posted on the FW gallery. However, the host's server got messed up . . . so pictures were lost. Alex never cared to repost his supposed picture.

Though, I would be quite doubtful about any pic he claims is himself . . ..

I noticed that this guy has been doing business on Egay under this email address - alex@just2good.net. I also noticed an auction on Egay that looked like the kind of scam this guy is running, so I bookmarked it. I just check it today, and the person on Egay that won the item posted feedback stating they were ripped-off. Link to recent ripp-off on Egay. I dont know if this is our same guy, but it happens to be the same item our little Alex was using to scam everyone. I also tried to alert Egay to this guy, but they refused to do anything with info from another source that didn't come from their web site.
Also, I have been taken by these guys in the past and have hopefully learned my lesson. Both times it was by someone with an Asian name in California to a PO box. And people are right when they say law enforcement, postmaster, feds, ect. won't take on the job of stopping these guys. I have had it stated to me by law enforcement, that the small dollor amount that these people are taking from one person after another is not worth their time to prosecute. Their should be a civil organization that would take on these thieves and present their crimes to a court of law.

Have anyone taken a look at the cheaters photo yet...the guy looks like an absolute DORK! Everyone built up this guy into some mofo criminal, but he is a pencil neck geek with coke bottle glasses. On top of that, this twenty somethin petty thief appears to have not been laid yet (looking at the photo, no surprise there). Anyways, I took the liberty to search through FAT WALLET (apparently he spent much of his time there) in the interest of showing the inner workings of the criminals mind;

BOTTOMLINE...the guys a dork and is no threat to anyone. At this point most of us can confront him without fearing bodily harm. Don't forget to wear boots when you go over to his apartment because pretty much guarantee he will crap and pee all over himself when he sees you. If we play the cards right, we may be able to cart this guy off to the penn. I'm sure there are plenty of hardened inmates just licking their chops to get a chance to deflower this 24 year old virgin...after all isnt this what American justice is all about?

Shr00m, there are actually lots more revealing links . . .. I used to read a lot of Alex's threads, as he loved to post at the fw OT thread. He seemed to enjoy posting at fw OT.

He had linked me to a website that he said explained his happiness that night, 'cuz I had asked him why he seemed so happy that night. Well, the link took me to the supposed newfound lady--Tram. I observed that he had the name Bao Chieu on his website. So I proceeded to ask if that was his real name, and he answered yes to my question.

It was from that thread and conversation that someone else opened a new thread in reference to that lady Tram. It was perhaps because of my previous inquiry that he revealed more about himself and restated his real name.

I was the one who brought up ML in the linked thread 'cuz I had my theory that his claim about some supposed girl &quot;Lien&quot; was simply illusional; that his *&quot;lien&quot; story was quite parallel to the ML one. And I had reason to suspect taht &quot;Lien&quot; was simply an imaginary character created to relive the ML experience. He had talked about ML months, months ago . . . since, like, June. But considering how much he claimed he cherished his ML relationship . . . it seemed odd that he would say no more about it . . . but continually talked about Lien and testified to similar stituations as the ML one.

He said how he had liked, liked ML all throughout HS, but he didn't have the guts . . .. But after graduation they supposedly hooked up . . .. Then his friend supposedly &quot;stole&quot; ML from him. Odd parallelism to his *lien thing . . .. Oh well!!!

Guess it's confirmed then. Bao Chieu is Alex Nguyen. Mhm. I wonder if any of us can get a hold of his fax number. I'm sure people read Maxim Magazine and is dying to try out the fax bomb prank. Where you tape like 3 sheets of paper with the word &quot;Alex give me my money back&quot; or something nice along those lines. Then as you send the 3 sheet of attached paper as the first sheet goes through you proceed to tape the ends together so that the fax never ends as it keeps going in a circular fashion. Imagine the look on that loser's face when he sees a stack of fax with requests from people to get their money high, piled up to the ceiling.

WELL...here is additional info on Alex's criminal activities. A search of user alex@just2good.net on fleabay reveals the following;

Item: 391240679 PNY &quot;Memory Master&quot; RAM. SoDIMM (for notebooks).

Complaint: Paid and recieved no merchandise or memory called...emailed...always excuse.

On the other hand, he had sold 14 items on fleabay since 8 Jun 00, mosly with positive feedback. So basically, around end of Aug he started ripping people off, and one of the previous poster suggests he changed his name so he can continue ripping people off on fleabay.

chances are good there are other places not yet discussed here where he has also ripped people off--perhaps in total it would be enough to compell the law to smack down this guy.
