Help With A E-B@y Deal...

...I bought some bar part from a guy. Sent him the MO, he got it, now like 3 weeks later I get a letter saying his car was stolen and that he doesn't have what I bought anymore. So what do I do with the Money Order? It's addressed to him. How can I get my money back from it? Thanks for the replies.

If its made out from you and your name is on it you could probably cash it. You could impersonate him, maybe you'll get lucky and not ask for ID

You do still have the reciept/stub for the MO right?

If you do, take both parts back to the bank and ask for it to be voided and refunded.

Bring it back to the place you got it and endorse the back. If you have the receipt, that will help. If not, look for the person who sold it to you....they may remember you.
