Ok...as you can tell from my thread title, I am rather frustrated with this router at the moment despite the fact that it is supposed to be one of the better 802.11b wireless routers out there.
Here is the problem. Prior to hooking up the router I never had any problems with the cable connection on my D-Link DCM 200 cable modem. Now, with the router in the loop, it is continuously dropping the connection between the router and the modem. It makes my Packet8 VoIP darn near unusable and is now dropping the outgoing Remote Desktop Connections.
I called D-Link and they had absolutely no clue. The tech didn't even really appear to understand the problem.
I was hoping that someone in the AT community could offer a few suggestions since I would really like to keep this router at the price I got it for. For the record, I have already tried updating the firmware and power cycling various parts of the network to no avail.
