Help with CD-RW

I am thinking of buying a HP 9710i CD-RW is this a good model? Does anyone now of any known problems with 9710i, also what?s the difference between the HP 9710i CD-RW and the HP CD16ri CD-RW. The 9710i is about $60 0r $70 cheaper than the CD16ri. Is the CD16ri that much better?

Check on HP's webpage, it should have most of the differences. I've heard that in general HP burners aren't too bad.

Hardware shopping tip: find out who makes it versus who brands it and supports it. HP has good support, warranty, software bundles, et cetera. I have had a couple HP drives that were made by Sony and have been happy with both.
