Help with choosing the right choice for my AC networking needs

I am looking into upgrading my wi-fi network to AC. I don't want to spend more than $150 and the lower the better. My current N300 setup will not work for the changes I want to make as there is no PCIe card that seems reliable with Win10.
I currently run an ethernet cable across my floor and I want to get rid of it.

I am the only one that will use it. I want one PC on AC and one phone using N and the phone will only be used to upload 5MB of data once a day.

The PC will be used to view video files off a server that are at most Blu-ray 1080P (TV is 1080P and there are no plans to change) and to stream from the internet. USB3 would be great for a NAS, but not a deal killer.

I am leaning towards an AC1750 setup over an AC1900 or 2600 as I believe the last two are over kill, but I am willing to listen to reasons why I may be wrong.

Please help me decide the right device for me and those that may have similar needs.

Great deal. I wasn't sold on this router as recent reviewers have had quit a few issues with quality, but for this price it's worth taking the risk.

for one client per band? yeah I doubt you are going to have issues.

I'm using an Asus AC68R (same hardware as AC68U) flashed with Shibby Tomato 138-MultiWAN, as my main router, and then using a TrendNet AC1200 wireless AP as a bridge to that router, and have an 8-port switch plugged into the single ethernet on the AP/bridge, and then my other PCs in the other room plugged into the switch. It has been very reliable, can't recall the last time I needed to reset it, except when I was swapping around main routers, and needed to re-setup the bridge.

No it doesn't, that's only if you set it up as a "repeater bridge". There's no wireless repeating here.

If you're looking for an AC WAP, I recommend looking at ubiquiti gear.

I have a UAP-AC-LR, was about 100 bucks last I checked, gives me fantastic speeds so far.

My only little catch is I don't actually have any AC clients yet...lol

I second the Ubiquiti AP, however just as an FYI, Ubiquiti will be releasing their 802.11ac Wave 2 AP in Q1 of this year. You'll obviously need Wave 2 clients to take advantage of the extra bandwidth, but it's a good near-future proof option for true gigabit wireless performance.

Ordered the T-mobile one from slickdeals. They took my money (haven't checked to see if they refunded me or not) and it stated in stock and expected to ship on the 4th.
Amazon has them in stock as well, but at a higher price.
No emails or communication. I called them.
They stated the order was canceled as the device was discontinued.
T-mobile will never get any business from me again.

So the question is still relevant.
I need a router to stream 1080P video and copy some files.
I already purchased an AC1900 PCIe card.
AC router for less than $150.

What do you think about the Archer C9? I do need to have some wired connections for my upstairs computers.
What is the difference between the Archer C9 and C1900?
