Help with Flash..

Hey..I'm trying to create a movie with Flash, (taking a bunch of still pictures and putting them together so they all go by fast) But anyway, I made the movie (about 5 seconds) but now i cant seem to publish it. No matter what I do, i cant seem to publish it, or debugg it, or anything. It plays fine in the program, but one i try to export or publish it,I jsut get a blank screen. I've been trying to figure this our for two hours already! Anyone have any idea what i might be doing wrong?

when you publish the movie you have to export it as a shockwave .swf file.

see if that helps

make sure you are working on the *.fla file not on the *.swf file, that might be the problem you might be working with the wrong file, it has the same name but different extension.
