Ok, this is an easy problem, but I'm lost.

I'm installing a new hard drive on my computer and I'm making it the boot drive. Since it's an 80 gig drive I installed Windows 2000 on a 15 gig partition. But the other 75 gigs aren't showing up in windows and I'm not sure how to get it to NTFS. What is the fdisk equivalent for Windows 2000?

Thanks in advance

1) Pop in the setup CD and boot from it. There's a partition manager available.
2) In the command line, enter DISKPART. That's the MS command line partition manager. I never used it, it seems to be quite complicated. Help is available both in the program (enter HELP) and in the Windows help.
3) And finally, and this will be the easiest way, there's also a GUI partition manager, it's a bit hidden in the Control Panel - Administrative Tools - Computer Management - Storage - Disk Management. Again, there is help available, F1 is the key. The basic description copy/pasted:
Right-click an unallocated region of a basic disk, and then click New Partition, or right-click free space in an extended partition, and then click New Logical Drive.
In the New Partition Wizard, click Next, click Primary partition, Extended partition, or Logical drive, and then follow the instructions on your screen.

That is, I just realised I'm using Windows XP, I don't know whether 2) and 3) are actually true for Windows 2000. It's likely, though.

Alternatively, right-click on My Computer, go to Manage, then Disk Management, there you can create partitions

Why recommend a expensive solution when Win2k/XP already have a partitioning/formating tool built in?

Right click on ANY My Computer icon, pick Manage, then click on Disk Management. Find your drive in the list, right click on the grey part that says "Unallocated" and choose Create Partition.
