I'm using Win98SE and I recently moved into my dorm and set my box up to use their network. Well, I set everything up to use DHCP and obtain all my addresses automatically (just like how everyone else does it around here), and for some reason, my system pauses when opening a new window (I use "open link in new window" a lot), and it's annoying having to wait. It's almost like it's redetecting the settings everytime. Like I said, I've used other people's Win98 systems without this issue, what could be causing this?
