Thanks for the advice regarding my previous post
I am trying to get a celeron 800 to run in a BX Abit BH6 motherboard, reasonably sure it should work.
Have latest bios update. However, I have so far tried it with what i think is called a socket 370 to slot 1 converter, which i used for a cel 366 in the same BX motherboard. The cel 800 using this converter and mobo won't post, im assuming its because of the converter.
I basically have no idea about these converters. I've been recommended to get an Abit Slotket. Is a "slotket" what I already have? Or do i need to buy a "slotket", preferrably an Abit one?. What exactly is a slotket?
Any help regarding slotkets/converters/adapter thingos relevant to my situation would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Adrian
