As for the report, yes we americans did lose the war because of ignorance and I'll tell you why. Americans underestimated what the Vietnamese were capable of because they didn't know or care to know. They were just a country of simple rice-farmers in most eyes. Because of this ignorance, the short occupation turned out to be a 10 year stay. Eventually, the US realized this was a different type of war they were used to and retreated because it proved to costly. So is it unfounded and ridiculous now? Our forefathers ignorance and arrogance cost the US many lives.
I never said people who had nothing to do or getting drafted weren't heroes. A hero is someone who takes action so others don't suffer. The people full of hate were just some vets I interviewed. I also interview some that actually wanted to help.
And Chappelle doesn't cause people to die...not directly. But eventually, through an indirect way. He mainly makes fun of black stereotypes, and some people are accept this as just jokes and it's an appropiate way to act. But if someone acts in a certain way that is offensive to another because it was deemed "that's just the way people are" that may in turn lead to something dangerous. You know the old saying, "one life touches another, then in turn touches another...." Say if you are white and try saying something Chappelle would say to a black person, he/she may get offended maybe violent. This goes for all people. You don't have to stab or shoot someone just to kill him. That's my point.
