HELP !

I have a bizzare but serious problem. Everytime I open my case the system will not boot up after closing it for perhaps 5 or 6 attempts. The screen receives no signal, and the boot sequence seems to fail - it doesn't even find the "A" drive.

Whats going on ? What can I check to get this fixed.

Once it's up and running it works fine.

Any help on possible causes appreciated.

You may be shorting something when you close the case or if you have the case intrusion feature on and install if its an OEM system of some type it could be causing this, although most likey you are shorting the motherboard when the case is closed, I'd rec. remounting it in your case and seeing if the problem still happens. Hope this helps

Thanks....I'll give that a try. But I'm curious as to how this would happen, you think something has come loose ?
