I just got an Acoustic Edge last week for $ 59.95 that I really loving it right now especially since Philips released some very nice W2K drivers for it two weeks ago. It's so much better than the Soundblaster Live that it replaced. No more Counterstrike problems since I installed it last week. But if it hadn't performed then I would have replaced it with one of these or the Santa Cruz from Dell

Can anyone compare this to the DIamond Monster MX400? That's what I have now. I want to upgrade my sound card. I like the LiveDrive with the SB's. I really wish this (the GTXP) break-out box would fit in a drive bay. Can someone more familiar with the SB LiveDrive and this unit comepare the 2 boxes? I'd like to get the one with the most functionality, espcially for recording music (guitar, keyboard, drum machine) on my computer.

I also saw something on the new SB's cards that seemed to add even more to the LiveDrive.

This card is good. The Santa Cruz looks good too. Most reports on bith cards seem to be when the drivers were new. The new 1.46 W2K driver seem to be working great.
