Well, this is an interesting thread. I live in South Texas...I can tell you that I am the minority ( I am white as white gets) in my town...and I'm 3 hours away from the border.

I've been to Mexico numerous times (1/2 gallon of Jim Beam is $10!!!!!!!) and have seen A LOT of stuff. Mexican police are so crooked they make US police look like saints. I have personally BOUGHT and BRIBED my way out of "tickets for breaking the law" down in Mexico. Yeah, I was being scammed/blackmailed...why do you think I havne't been back there in 4 years? :| It was pay up, or have them lock me and my blond-haired, blue-eyed, large breasted GF in separate cells and god knows what they would 've done to her...or when we would've gotten out....we'd prolly still be there.

99% of the crap jobs that MOST white folks won't do are taken my non-English speaking, undocumented, illegal immigrants here in Texas. And in Louisiana, and Arizona...and it's spreading.

Vincente Fox knows that his slave-wage labor runs this country. So does George Dubya....who do you think used to cut his lawn here in Texas when he was Governor? Duhhhhhh.....

What I DO understand is that Fox has a big set of nuts making demands like this...he should be smacked upside his head, given a gift-basket and sent home. What I don't understand is why we are even putting up with this crap?

This was about armed Mexican soldiers entering the U.S. and sometimes firing on U.S. Border Patrol. There are those on the U.S. side who believe that the Mexican Army troops are helping drug-runners. Do you not agree that that's just plain wrong? This has very little to do with immigration per se. It's certainly related, but this news is an outrage and these incursions must not be tolerated.

and the burger im eating right now came courtesy of some very hard working AMERICANS like MY WHITE family in new mexico. They own and operate a cattle ranch, using their own, hardworking, WHITE labor to bring you beef to eat.

I have no problem at all with prosecuting people (including military personnel) that cross the border illegally. And accusations of shooting our own border personnel makes the illegal crossing even worse. However, my point was to illustrate the ill effects of an ambush. There are legal and ETHICAL ways of dealing with this that do not involve unnecessary killing.

Whatever the reason behind the world not liking Americans is... the fact remains that we use up an improportionally large amount of resources and produce huge amounts of waste. Most Americans don't respect other cultures and are incredibly selfish and celf-centered when it comes to others.

Employers, especially those that absolutely needs local work such as construction has a tendency to be more willing to allow illegal immigrants to work. It should be acceptable for USA to be able to deport illegal border crossers by simply stacking them in box and UPS'ing them back.

I have problems with employers employing them, even if its dirt cheap.

Both should get deported to wherever the illegally employed immigrant is originally from.

Sure, there are idiots in the American education system. Just like there are in any other. You think Japan doesn't have slackers? You think that the Japanese really allow every student in their classes to take the standardized tests they report to us on? No! They take the top students in each class!

I've worked with and known high school dropouts; I've worked with and had friends going to USC, UW, UVA, etc. There is a range of intellects and personalities at work in American youth. To stereotype or typify all of us, based on the actions or opinions of a few is offensive, insulting, and tells me a great deal more about you than you realize.
