This was about armed Mexican soldiers entering the U.S. and sometimes firing on U.S. Border Patrol. There are those on the U.S. side who believe that the Mexican Army troops are helping drug-runners. Do you not agree that that's just plain wrong? This has very little to do with immigration per se. It's certainly related, but this news is an outrage and these incursions must not be tolerated.

what it comes down to is MONEY, in Mexico, you can get anything if you have enough money. this isn't about illegals coming across for work. this is the fact that drug runners are paying the federales to protect them. and with enough money the gov't doesn't see things. But you have to give it up to my people (yes i'm hispanic too) they work hard and although they make little to nothing it is still better than what they would have if they were in mexico. and that is a nother thread all together.

geez, give the Mexicans a break!! It is my fault anyhow, I asked them to help out cause I (and millions of other US Citizens) was out of cocaine!!!

A few years ago I was doing some border patrol stuff--won't say where or with whom, but some of our people would also cross the border into the mexican side so it goes both ways I guess. BTW all the mexican police are corrupt, and the borderpatrol agents know it.

I have a lot of respect for the border patrol, the agent we worked iwth patroled 50 miles of border by himself with backup about 2 hours away:frown:
