On the second, if the issue is against using state-funds to attend schools which have religious messages, then on what basis are we currently allowing student loans to private colleges? How is this any different than that?

Im going to cautiously say Im not seeing a problem with this. If you read the entire link it explains both sides...which I dont have a problem with.

That actually doesn't look that bad - I think people are taking this out of context. This appears to be a "compare and contrast" reading exercise which asks the student to distinguish which sentence is of Creationist belief or evolutionary theory based on a simple explanation of each. It's not actually teaching them to be equal.
Yep, blame it on the GOP when 41% of Democrats feel the same way and only 19% of Democrats believe God was not involved in evolution.
