I can't believe pro-fishing is set as the lowest. it takes years of biologicle study, tedious training, extremely good boat driving skills (to avoid the occassional moron on a jet-ski, and to handle rough water), sight, and motor skills. It's not the toughest on your short bursts of energy like hockey or football, but a 4-day tourny in rough weather will beat the sh!t out of you like nothing else. (imagine sitting in a poorly coushioned chair free falling 5-6ft on a concrete floor repeatedly for 3-4 hours a day) pro-golf should be at the bottom of the list, at worst you pull a shoulder/back muscle.
I used to play football, baseball, and ran cross country in high school, and gorilla basketball with friends during the summer, and occasionally played golf on the weekends. None of these where as tough as fishing a 1-day bass tournament. (I fished in the pro-am division of anglers choice while in college)

I dare you people to tell this guy that cycling is for wussies.
all it takes is 20-25mph winds for 6ft crests on a large lake. been there in 20F weather for 3 of 4 days after a cold front on richland chambers resevoir. so dasm cold we had to dunk our reals in the lake to melt the ice. (I've done that on several tourny's but only on one that windy)Hmmm...What bass tournament has 5-6ft waves? You just described a fishing derby that took place in a Huriccane!!!

Hehe...true. The average cyclist is about 5'8" and weighs maybe a buck-forty. Not exactly a bruiser.Originally posted by: Mookow

I'd tell him that while I was on a job site for my summer job. But only b/c I'd have a spud bar in my hands
But seriously, lets think about your more average cyclists. Where is that video of two cyclists getting into a "fight"? I put fight in quotes because I've seen pillowfights with more damage done.

I might have to load up Kazaa and find that movie clip.... it's great. Much like that video on "english karate". Lots of windmilling, few hits, and even less damage.

You'd be surprised; your average cross-country MTBer is about the same size. It pays to be relatively small and have a good power-to-weight ratio in cycling.Originally posted by: newbiepcuser

I might have put Wrestling above Basketball, but their list works for me. Ice hockey is definitely #2.

soccer (way too exhausting)
kick-boxing (freestyle martial arts type, and my favorite....got the scars to prove it )
boxing (no tko bs, knock him the fvck out for real or let him call match over)
bass fishing (not the pansy go out cat fishing with your grandpa stuff)
