Since it has become apparent, to me at least, that Ron Paul polls have been manipulated here is a poll that can't be beat (I hope).

Simply reply to this thread with a YES if you BELIEVE Ron Paul polls that are open to anyone are being hijacked my a limited number of Ron Paul supporters.
Simply reply NO if you believe open Ron Pauls are really indicative of Pauls actual numbers.

This way we can see REAL results.

Although I admit I like some of his ideas, but there are too many I don't, plus I don't see him as electable anyway. I am glad that he has been part of the debate.

On domestic issues I?m very much in favor of him, but every time he opens his mouth on foreign affairs it is disgusting. So to me, this answer is defined by the weight of the only candidate with the correct domestic credentials over the weight of having to impeach him just to so much as lift a finger against Islamists.

I acknowledge that we won?t have a country to secure if we don?t structure our government right, but the President alone can do nothing in this regard ? it is Congress that will continue to ruin this nation in opposition to libertarian values. If he were part of a greater movement, of people who could obtain the majority and change our course I would be more comfortable knowing the sacrifice was worth the benefit. As of now, there is a large price to pay for almost nothing in return.

He might veto large spending, but authoritarians from both Republicans and Democrats would easily and repeatedly override that veto. His greatest impact would be on the conduct of our administrative branch, and to instill pacifist policies.

Having thought all this through, I can only sit here and shake my head. I don?t really know if I can stomach what he stands for on foreign affairs. He could be an obstruction to Republicans and Democrats, sure, but we don?t need an obstruction ? we need a revolution to abolish our two corrupt parties. We will not get that. :frown:

Love him or hate him, he is right on the big issues that will actually affect our lives. REAL fiscal responsibility. Empires are EXPENSIVE and Americans are living far beyond their means... what happened to sacrifice during a time of 'crisis'? The dollar is falling fast, and all of this fiscal irresponsibility is catching up to us. That is real, and its unfortunate that many people don't even realize what is happening
