I've been having lots of lower back pain lately and have been thinking of getting one of those Herman Miller Aeron chairs I keep hearing about to help solve the problem. Highly adjustable w/ PostureFit . I'm turning 30 next month and don't feel like having back surgery by the time I'm 40. I usually spend 3-6 hours a day in my computer chair. I went to a place that had them and it did seem like the most comfortable computer chair I've ever sat in.
The only problem is the rediculous price... with the fully loaded (but not the extra for chromed out frame) they cost around $900 new. That's what my wife and I paid for our couch! It won't send me to the poor house... but it might mess up my next computer upgrade purchase.
So... what do y'all think? Any owners have good/bad comments about their Aeron? Do you own another chair that treats your back well? Thanks!
