Try out the Liberty chair. An architect I worked for used Aeron and they were amazing. The only reason I suggest testing the Liberty is because it's designed for reclining, which was my only complaint of the Aeron.

Then you didn't buy the good Aeron; mine reclines.
PaulNEPats, you're not talking about buying a used one on Ebay are you?

Nope, I hear it's overpriced. It's the Bose of chairs. You can get chairs of similar quality for less
excellent reference

maybe for the casual random person it may seem like a good analogy or whatever but this is a bit misleading...
Bose does a heck of a lot of marketing... Herman's don't. Herman's are like snapon tools... niche, luxury items... they sell to a certain upscale market that show off their status. like bmw.
Bose, they sell to the mass consumer, you can find Bose at like circuit city... their prices are high due to their heavy marketing.
i have a herman... do i feel it's worth the price they charge? no.
do I feel a Banana republic shirt is worth their $58 and it's 'made in' where ever? no.
But the herman has won design and ergonomic awards when it came on the scene yrs ago... it does work for providing comfort.. but you pay a similar price of a chair made out of leather...

I just like the fact that I don't have to worry about the chair wearing out, like all my old ones eventually did.
