In a recent interview with E! Online Tim Kring said: "There are plans to add one new, one big character next season." He also stated that the "Heroes" that remain are likely to stick around, because he's changed his MO "I thought Heroes was going to have an ever-shifting cast," he says, "but the cast hit in such big ways that now the challenge is to figure out how to use them all and still fold in a couple of new people, because I still think that the origin stories are the most fascinating, in some ways." Masi Oka, who portrays Hiro Nakamura, recently said in an interview with Sci-Fi Wire, ?I think it?s great the way the finale ends? It?s a wrapping up of volume one, which is called ?Genesis.? And it wraps up the whole bomb storyline. So it?s a nice finale, and there?s a great cliffhanger with everybody, I would say. And you do get to see a little bit of volume two, which is called ?Generations.??. Tim Kring also revealed that although he plans to keep most of the "surviving cast" with the addition of a couple of new faces, Season 2 will start off with the heritage and lineage of some of the major heroes families, much of which is the first generation of heroes (Mr. Linderman, the Petrelli Family, and Kaito Nakamura, just to name a few who were already revealed.) This season will have a total of 24 episodes.

I think so. The old one was probably in the top 5 longest threads on ATOT. I can't believe I missed this episode. I had to work. It is the only one I missed. This was the last one right? Wasn't it supposed to be two hours long?

Yeah, it was the last. For some reason I was thinking it was supposed to be two hours, but maybe I got it confused with lost.

I can't access the old thread either.

I really don't know if I'm going to watch the second volume. I was extremely disappointed with the ending. It felt rushed and was a major letdown.

I'm not THAT pissed off, but I do agree, that was SUCH a week ending and a pretty weak finale in general.

It like getting a magnificent handjob and then the chick doesn't finish you off.

Indeed...30 weeks worth of blue b@lls. Way to go out on a fizzle for what was otherwise an awesome show. Seemed to me like the writers were almost undecided how they wanted to end it up until the last minute of filming.

Works fine here. I can get to every page. Heroes Season finale was not good at all. Makes me want to watch 24 instead more.

I guess we should use this thread for now since the old one is fvcked. Anyways, yeah the ending sucked, I was hoping for a bad-ass super battle. When Peter started punching the hell out of Sylar it was awesome. I did like how Natahan came through though. So a few things.

1. Why can Peter control all his other powers so well but not Teds? He used Nikki's super strength right away (Didnt he?)

2. Is Sylar alive and went down the sewer? Wtf?

3. When there was 10 mins left of the show I was hoping for a non-stop 6-8 min battle of bad-assness

the season finale was pretty good, the ending was kinda of a let down. I was hoping for a big battle. It was funny how hiro was teleported back to old age japan. I forget what year it said, 1600's I think
