BTW, was the episode any longer than usual? The usual length is 43 minutes right? Can someone who downloaded this confirm that it's actually longer than 43 minutes?

When Peter exploded he created 3 parts of himself.
1. The first one took on Nathan's Identity and is the Evil Nathan in the future. The original one is dead. Killed in the explosion. A part of Peter wanted Nathan to live so he does.
2. Claire's Peter. Time traveled back and grew up in CA and subconsciously knows her.
3. Peter in the Box. Adult Peter that will face the Evil Nathan and will have a scar on his face.

i did not yell "What the F-" at the end of this episode, i am severely disappointed. ill give them a break since its the first of the season, but next week... i expect to be freakin out at the end of the episode.

I thought the episode was over all good. Remember they are trying to build up characters again so it will drag at some points i imagine.

As far as the season 1 ending I saw it coming from a mile away, which sucked because the writers threw so many unexpected curves into the shows during the season. A few of the shows I sat there riveted and at the end thought to myself, "Damn, that's one of the best episodes of any show I've ever seen." I was hoping the ending would be no different and it was a bit of a let down. Still, I won't let the ending ruin my overall opinion. All in all it's, imo, one of the best shows on TV right now.

I do have to wonder if the Petrelli's actually bit it though? What if the blast was Peter finally controlling the power at the last second and letting it go in a burst of energy? Maybe we'll see one or both of them again?

Anyway, I'm so looking forward to season 2. Hope it's as great as season 1.

Just to make it a fair playing field, tell us your ending to season 2 now so we know what to expect.

Also anyone know who the '9' are. Apparently one could be Sylar, but being they hid his face and gave him the Sylar trademark hoodie; I am thinking that was a red herring.
