Not really, I always took it to be portrayed that way on purpose. While it would have sucked it if turned out to be a 1 season flick, this way it goes as planned.

I don't remember the details of every single episode but I think the only act of consequence that she did the entire season was kill Linderman. Even that, her husband did, not her. She chose money over her husband (well, at least Jessica did).

Her kid won the election for Nathan but that act doesn't have much to do with her character itself.

Not necessarily a bad thing... that's how I watched most of last season. Couldn't watch it at night so I would watch it during lunch the next day.

I heard HRG on a radio interview today, he mentioned rather than a massive 24 wk story arc, they'll have two 12 wk ones this season.

As far as the season 1 ending I saw it coming from a mile away, which sucked because the writers threw so many unexpected curves into the shows during the season. A few of the shows I sat there riveted and at the end thought to myself, "Damn, that's one of the best episodes of any show I've ever seen." I was hoping the ending would be no different and it was a bit of a let down. Still, I won't let the ending ruin my overall opinion. All in all it's, imo, one of the best shows on TV right now.

I do have to wonder if the Petrelli's actually bit it though? What if the blast was Peter finally controlling the power at the last second and letting it go in a burst of energy? Maybe we'll see one or both of them again?

Anyway, I'm so looking forward to season 2. Hope it's as great as season 1.
