Heroes Volume IV: Fugitives

The only thing I got out of this episode is what I knew from the second it became evident HRG was part of the round-up, he's only in it to fuck it up. All in all, better than last week, picking up, this season could end as nicely as season 1 did. BTW, it still is Season 3...just "Volume 4."

I must admit, it seems as though the train is about to come off the track with Heroes. The show seems to be getting more convoluted and random with each episode

I don't think so. They confirmed what a lot of people were thinking with this ep... HRG has ulterior motives with what he's doing. He helped Daphne, he walked Parkman out on purpose (though I think his plan got messed up by Peter), he's working with Angela. Hell, the end of the ep where he and Angela were talking pretty much laid it out, and the teaser for next week I think pretty much gave everything away... next week the hunter dude completely goes nuts, and that's going to bring down Nathan's house of cards in a big way.

Heroes is still fully on the rails... it just seems that all the people complaining aren't taking the time to look at the scenery around them to figure out where they are!

My gripe? The fax last week to Ando and Hiro saying they have to save Parkman. I assume that will be for next week or the week after (with the whole Parkmen with dynamite strapped to him thing).

This ep was ok, dragged out, but seemed like they were doing a lot of set up for things to come. Best line of the show was HRG "You know I've always been ok w/ morally grey"

Yeah this was a slow set up ep. It's kind of disappointing that they paint HRG so blatantly as a traitor to Nathan's cause, it loses some of the suspense.

very interesting episode, I like the way they used the hrg interrogation to tell the backstory.

yes! hottie is still alive.

and mohinder makes us for earlier by giving himself over after taking a couple out.

peter's getting better using those flashbangs than he was when he had near god like powers.

it was nice to see baldy take one, even if only in the arm.

i thought the previews were all about hrg making choice between sides, did I blink and miss that frame?

uh oh, grandma in charge of scheming again, this can't be good.


hmm, now that's an interesting set of paintings.

judging from the snippets someone posted before, it's a tech character similar to the other two that have already been in the series and that's not her bag baby.

I'm losing patience with this season. When oh when will it stop sucking? Each weeek I have hope and each week it devolves further and further into something only Spaceballs could describe... It has gone from suck to blow.

I'm a little confused as to Pete's power now.
Can he have more than one at time because he seemed to have both Matts psychic power and the power of flight when he went into the building.
Does he take away (permanently?) another persons power when he absorbs it? Is that what happened when he touched his brother at the end?

It was Nathan who saved Peter when he fell off the building. Then Peter took Nathan's flying ability with the man hug.

Also, he doesn't take the power away permanently. He absorbed Pakman's power and Parkman still had it when they went into the building looking for Daphne.

Considering this was explained in dialogue between Peter and Matt prior to entering the building, did you watch the show?

I think he gets that. The question is why is his power now different and why did they just spring this info on us now?
