This is the first episode of the return of the original writer to the show from the first season. The show is moving back to the original vision the writers had before the Guild Actors strike damn near killed the show. The change of the dynamic in the show in this episode is no accident since Brian Fuller has returned as executive producer and writer of the show. Part of that change of direction is they are killing off some of the characters introduced by Jesse Alexander and Jeph Loeb, including Daphne and Tracy Stauss (Ice Bitch) and reintroducing some old ones. (Matts wife and Micha)

Just watch the first season again if you want to see the writing direction the show will now be going!

Over her? I think she is a marginal at best talent, not especially good looking and her acting is clearly the worst on the show.
I think she is just so full of herself its sickening.

Because they screwed up the first season and gave everyone too much power...Peter can do anything...Hiro can freeze time and teleport anywhere and in any time period...they had to save the world...so now, they reduced Peter and Hiro's power and had to figure out some other pressing issue to fix (you know...other than saving the world).

This episode was fun, but it was a whole lot of nothing...all we did was find out who Rebel is

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. The wheelbarrow part was funny, but it didn't have that same fun "adventure" feel that Hiro & Ando had the first couple seasons. They're trying too hard now.

Part of the problem with this show is that no one is really willing to do anything. Peter could take out the entire team of government agents if he wanted to...the bald-headed bad guy could just kill all of his captured heroes...Parkman could make anyone do anything with his mind games...sigh.

i watched it in SD and saw it quite clearly. maybe some people just need their glasses checked

The only shocking thing about Micah is how old he looks compared to season 1. My new question is can Baby Genesis turn powers off as well as on? AKA is he now the equivalent to the source or whatever Hiro went back and got from his mother before having it stolen by Peters father? or could he be nefariously used by bald guy to remove peoples powers? I must say that when they revealed baby Parkman's powers it was all too clear why Hiro was there. Now that Strauss is gone, will they introduce the third sister?

At least it's not as bad as Walt from Lost...he went from an Alto to a Bass and from 4 feet tall to 6 feet tall :laugh:
