Where did Sylar get the ability to absorb memories?
When he was working for the company, Angela fed him someone who could read memories by touching objects.
I don't get why Bennett and Angela wanted Sylar to replace Nathan. That's the dumbest idea ever. What happens when Nathan gets a paper cut and it heals instantly? What happens in ten years when he realizes he's not aging?

Claire doesn't heal other people.

Just saw the episode on the DVR. Honestly, I can't believe Peter and Nathan lasted more then a second against Sylar. Maybe he just wanted to have fun, but he could or should have just swatted them like flies.
Anyway, I was really surprised on how Peter got Sylar, that was a very welcome and amazing surprise. I still have to wonder if Sylar should have known, heard or something or at least sensed some lying going on.
So they have any memory, about Claire?s healing power. Maybe these writers don't like that, but they need to stop leaving such huge gaps.
And here you have super duper Sylar, and simply with some voodoo from Parkman, he is Nathan. You just know that cannot hold. Maybe they can make him nicer, he did have a son and be nice in one future.
I still want Peter to get his full power back, that is always key somewhere.
And the best part, is that naked Nicky. I am going to love this season if she is always wet and naked. What does it take to be an extra on Heroes, she can do anything she wants to me.
So season finale: Sylar and Nathan "die" where have we seen that before? Oh yeah in Volumes 1 & 2 they both die in the finale and come back in the first episode of the next season.
So what's the deal with the title - "The Invisible Thread" ? I figured the "someone you know will die" bit would be the Invisible Man from way back in season 1 or 2.
Claire doesn't heal other people.

Her blood.
Sylar did pick up flying in the fight with Nathan. He flew back into the hotel room and landed softly... though I dunno why he needs it, telekinesis can effectively do the same thing (we saw Sylar hover into the garage with super-hearing lady a couple seasons back, which is why he got the jump on her). And for all the powers Sylar had, flying wasn't one of them. So even though he thinks he's Nathan, what happens when Nathan tries to fly and can't?
I've said this for a few episodes now - the design of this season (or the end of it) appears to be that Sylar is getting back to the position he was in the future of Season 1 - posing as Nathan as the president.A tie back to season one with the whole "multiple time lines represented as threads". This is a thread leading back to the original future timeline.
I think he essentially just did (by taking Sylar's powers). Sylar ended up getting the "empathic" power absorb back in Pinehurst with Elle. Remember, he also used it on the shapeshifter too. So essentially, as long as Peter doesn't take a new power with his power, he can use Sylar's absorb power just like his used to be. Of course what the writers will obviously fail to take into account is that Peter would also have taken "The Hunger" (again). But then again, Peter was all beat up after the fight, so did he not get Sylar's (Claire's) healing back?I still want Peter to get his full power back, that is always key somewhere.

Why the hell didn't Claire use her blood to fix Nathan... AGAIN (it was stolen by Papa Petrelli and used after Nathan was shot by Future Peter early last season).

If I were writing this show for next season - the one simple act of Peter taking on Sylar's powers would be even more important than Sylar being Nathan. Keep in mind, Peter is self-destructive - to top it off he now has: The Hunger, Lie Detector, Memory Reading, Shape Shifting and his original (well Sylar's version) of Empathic Absorption. Not to mention, he was with Parkman in the final scene, so he could easily have absorbed Mind Reading/Control now too. Imagine the notion that with all of those powers, he has GOT to know about the Sylar plan. Angela alluded that she would lie about it to her family, but the last scene Peter obviously knows.
I think Peter could be a better plot driver next season than Sylar has been since the first season. And not to mention - not suck either!

After Peter jabbed Sylar with the syringe didn't he say: "I bet you didn't think I took that one."
To me that meant that he could only take one of Sylar's powers, and he chose the shapeshifting.

Yeah, I caught that too. But then I was thinking about it - and how the hell would Peter and Nathan have a chance against Sylar if Peter could only come away with one power? The plan was for Peter to touch Sylar - so the plot driver is that he can get all of Sylar's powers in order to fight him. Of course there are so many points throughout the entire series that the writers seem to forget crucial points like this (and Claire's blood for example).
Another one that's probably forgotten was when Peter met up with the future Sylar. Sylar wouldn't LET Peter take his power (including and namely The Hunger) - not without at least allowing him to do so.
The show leaves so many seeming little holes in each minor plot, but when you stop to think about them they turn out to be gaping holes.
