Yeah there was no clear indication it was sylar, but....

Given there desire to ween off some of the main special characters since they talked about adding too many in 2, I don't think this is a brand new character. Also the " a friend" part came through almost as a bit sarcastic, similar to the way sylar put her skull back on after checking out her insides and calling her special.

Of the remaining characters that had parts in the show previously, none of the living ones really had much involvement with any of the company affairs that would lead you believe they would be seeking out the current badies.

Is Claire's biological mom dead yet? I forgot what she's up to these days.

It didn't seem to me Sylar cares all that much about the current hunt for specials, he just wants to find daddy atm. Maybe it was him, tho.

Forgot to add, the exchange where the guy is talking to claire and tells her "(you're) just like sylar" was another event that gave me the its sylar feel with the text.

Your post implies old peter was capable of ass kicking. He was only capable of fucking up.

Actually, if you think about it, Peter is a little better off now. He can absorb peoples' powers actively now just by touching them. Before, the other person would have to use their power with Peter observing them before he knew how to use it...

true. the future incarnations of Peter were awesome at ass-kicking, but present-Peter is always on the naive side. the question is, can he store the abilities away after he absorbs them? from what i can tell from the first episode, he can only take one at a time (like rogue from xmen).

mohinder is a good character when he doesnt have many lines. i hope they mute him for the rest of the season.

Mayhaps somewhere along the way Peter picks up the power to kick ass and have a clue... which is why future-Peter rocked ass.

All he has to do is shake Sylar's hand...

Drives me nuts every episode. If the writers had actually read any of the old scripts they wrote they would know that he cannot be snuck up on. Hell, Sylar had to float up on the guy he stole that from.

And did anyone else find Sylar's dialog at heat boy's house to be over the top corny?

I think I'm just about done this with this show. It's become horribly written and the plotlines (especially the way they've concluded the seasons) just get worse and worse.

Season 1 was decent and built up to the finale, where they have one of the most lame "fights" ever. Season 2, Nathan goes from being good to bad to good to bad all within a few episodes without much reason. Now it's "Heroes: Prison Break" aka Season 3...horrible show.

I believe that this show is taking a turn for the better. They actually have a coherent story and some development of characters.

I think the texts were from Peter but because they are monitoring for him and monitoring Claire's phone, he just can't reveal his identity yet.

I just watched it on Hulu and thought it was a great episode; I really don't see why it is getting so much hate. The shooting of Daphne was a bummer - she may be alive, but those soldiers were shooting to kill so it seems unlikely they would have the desire to fix her up.

interesting, I had heard about this "rebel" thing but don't' recall it on my broadcast. I had the dvr set in case i missed it for some reason, so checked the last minutes of the show and just as I remember, on my version the "rebel" signature was missing form the text.


I also noticed on one of the sites I stopped at earlier that they mentioned something about the tracy encounter at the end being changed because of the PR earlier in the night but can't remember what site I was at to read it again.
