I believe the only thing that took place in the future was involving Hiro. Everything else happened on October 2nd.

Agreed. It looks like Officer Parkman was working a Sylar case in LA, while Hiro walked in on Syler's murder of the artist in NYC. I got the impression that Sylar started with people in the LA area (since LAPD is working the case as a serial killer investigation) and eventually moves eastward over the course of the next 35 days.

So I'm guessing this season will span over the next month in show time and that November 7th might be the season finale? Or do you think we'll get to that event sooner and have other storylines pick up?

According to Wikipedia, the show is going to conclude on the 6th, with a total of 7 episodes.

As far as the storylines go, I guess it would be possible that the nuke event isn't the end, but that it ends on the Sylar plot line (if there is ultimately more to the Sylar plot line than the nuclear explosion).

I think they've been pretty clear she doesn't. She has suffered a ton of what would be extraordinarily painful things (particularly having her hand torn apart by the Dispos-All), with no apparent pain.

If she did, she wouldn't have walked into a flaming train wreck, jumped off a 60ft tower (or whatever it was), stuck her hand down the sink disposal, or all of the other sh!t she did before the first epsiode (she mentioned it in the first episode).

Err.... I just read something on a news site that said Heroes has been picked up for the full season. And I'm pretty sure full season doesn't mean "7 episodes".
