no way. that make opening the brain unnecessary. sylar has to open up the brain to see how it works. eden didn't have to change her voice when she used her power.

I read somewhere that the writers just use that sound effect with the voice because they think it sounds cool. Probably similar to that sound the six million dollar man made when he was using his bionics -- just tells the audience that some heavy duty powers are being used.

I'm confused about one thing from the last episode. Near the end of the episode, Hiro and Ando are looking at the ruined NYC. Hiro then says that Isaac (sp? the painter guy) isn't dead because they caught Sylar. They then run back into the building and find future-Hiro.

Why does Hiro say that Isaac isn't dead? I don't remember an episode where he thought Sylar was captured/killed.

I'm thinking the sketch book that Issac gave to the messenger shows the method of Sylar's demise. Thus "messenger" is apt as well as his saying that it may prove valuable in the future.

What do you mean by American? Indian-American (Ancestors from India, but he was born in America) or American meaning he puts makeup on to look like he is from India?

Sorry, crappy phrasing. I meant he had an American accent IRL, when I was expecting him to be British. I guess it's the reverse of what some of the US posters had when they realised Hugh Laurie was British and not American.

Anyway, by your definition the guy is Indian-American. I certainly didn't think he was putting on makeup to look Indian :laugh:

when they were in texas sylar got captured by the organization. they have never been led to believe he escaped, so that's why they would think isaac is alive.

With 4 episodes left, I'm guessing 2 for how things turned bad and the last 2 for how the Heroes Saved the World. So is everyone else assuming Nathan is going to start a Heroes witch hunt?

I think someone said the online novel thing says that Sylar is actually the bomb...never read it so I don't know.

But FYI, I has always been my theory that Peter isn't the one that explodes, that would be too obvious. Besides, the one who came to the conclusion about the bomb was Peter, and he hasn't had a very good track record thus far at knowing exactly what's what - thinking he could fly but he couldn't - his brother can yet his powers allow him to mimic the powers of others.

Besides, there is pretty good evidence supporting Sylar blowing up - when he stole the super hearing from the mechanic, he couldn't master it right away. I'm guessing the bomb would be him stealing the nuke man's powers and then going critical because he can't control it...that or now that he can paint the future he believes he needs to blow up NY in order to gain that political power or something.
