I posted this question in the in the os section now I?ll try here. You know Pick the Brains of the Brains so to speak.. I have windows XP installed. I?m trying to disable ?Tool Tips? the little annoying bubble help that pops up when you point to any icon. Disabling it on the desktop was easy a simple setting in the registry file. But disabling it on the start bar and internet explorer is another story. What I get from searching the internet is that it?s in ?UserPreferencesMask? in a binary value. Hex is has never been my strong points. If any one knows the binary value, or even if I?m in the right direction, can you let me know. I know it?s only a matter of time till I find someone with the answer or figure it out my self, but what the he-ll If I can get the answer from ewes it be a lot quicker.
