An absolute rule for me is that I won't even start to consider dating a woman who smokes. Even before you get to the horrible aesthetics of being around, let alone kissing, someone who smells and tastes like an ashtray, I've watched eight (and counting) friends die in the last six years from smoking related illnesses. :|

Smokers are guaranteed losers. I refuse to waste the time and energy of investing any emotion in a no win situation. :disgust:

I also think every tobacco exec for the last fifty years should be tried for crimes against humanity. Death to the tobacco BORG! :| :| :|

If she smokes lightly i.e. when she drinks or one or two a day, it is ok. Otherwise, fvck no. People who smoke a pack a day are not really that attractive. Fvckable, but not relationship material. I like people like me. Smoking when you drink is ok in my book.

 

It's a turn off. It tastes and smells bad kissing them.

If she was a casual smoker(if theres such a thing) it wouldn't bother me. I'm a non-smoker myself. If she weren't religious about it and lights up all the time it would be no big deal at all to me.

Drunk chicks are better than old chicks. Actually, I met my current GF at the bowling alley and I was the one drinking. Evidently I was sober enough to ask her out even thought I vaguely remember it.

LOL meet/meat! Actually the Bowling Alleys in California are not the hub of social activities they are in Alabama. Odds are if you were to meet a chick in a Ca Bowling Alley they smoke, drink too much and actually think Bowling is a worthwhile activity. I'm glad to here it's not the same in Alabami!

Considering the fact that most of the population here on this board is geeks, and no one can ever find a date, I would recommend that you do not take things such as smoking at face value.

You could be missing out on a really great person, possible someone that you could have spent the rest of your life with. Someone who would have been willing to quit their "habit" for you and your future together.

Just because someone smokes doesn't mean they are genuinely a bad person, for god sakes it's just smoking. The way I see it is you are robbing yourself, and if that's the way you want it to be because of your own demanding selfishness then so be it. There will always be internet porn.
